Don't you know Sestriere yet?
It is one of the most evocative mountain resorts in Italy, with its 2035m above sea level it is the highest municipality in our country. The flagship for skiing is the international district of the Via Lattea of which Sestriere is the beating heart, having hosted major events over the years such as the Turin 2006 Olympic Games and still today being the scene of the most important for alpine skiing.
An almost enchanted place, surrounded by woods, streams, majestic peaks and nature reserves. Located on the hill of the same name, at the crossroads between the Val Chisone and the Valle di Susa, precisely because of its particular geographical position, it is one of the few - if not the only - mountain resorts constantly illuminated by the sun's rays b>, from the first light of dawn to the last glow of sunset. A peculiarity that makes it an even more sought-after destination for snow sports lovers.
Sestriere is the ideal place to fully experience the mountain nature in its white shades of the winter season and to discover activities and excursions typical of a place so full of charm. One of its most exciting attractions? Obviously dog sledding!
